Scenic Nature Hike

This open scenic trail in the system of the bonneville shoreline trail system in the foothills of Salt Lake City is super easy to get to and still in the serenity of nature. after a short van trip (13 minutes) from downtown, we do a 3.3 mile hike. The majority of the trail is a loop hike. We see sweeping views of Salt Lake City, The Great Salt Lake, Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountain Ranges. It is a friendly trail that I would grade as Moderate Ability due to it's length. There is 500 feet elevation gain for the duration of the hike. This spot is a favorite from locals, dog-lovers and bikers. It's a gorgeous and quick way to get a couple miles in weather you're visiting for business or pleasure.
